Self-Confidence the CEO Hustler Way

Preparing yourself for success with a positive mindset and help you build your self-confidence, the CEO Hustler Way

Tips to help you prepare yourself for success and help you build the self-confidence you need to start and grow your business.

How Confident do You Feel and How Confident do You seem to Others? You see your level of confidence can be felt and shown in many ways.

  • Your behavior
  • body language
  • trembling voice
  • what you say and how you say it, etc.

Many of us show it because we DON’T BELIEVE IN OURSELVES!

You see I learned early on that if I wanted to succeed I needed to believe in myself if I wanted to help and inspire others…So I started to practice!

The GOOD NEWS is that Self-Confidence can be learned and built on…So before you start helping others you have to start by helping yourself.

Here are 5 things to ponder...

Low Self-Confidence

Staying in your comfort zone.

You fear to take risks.

Always trying to cover up your mistakes.

Dismissing compliments

Fear of failure.

Being Confident

Always going the extra mile

Risk-taker regardless of out-come

Learns from the mistakes.

Accept compliments graciously

“Take the bull by the horns”

I’ve always been a “go-getter” but at some point in my life, I felt just like you.

I started to lack self-confidence until realizing that my self-confidence was coming from low self-esteem.

Many of us are always trying to seek approval, we always feel that what we are doing is not our best or many times it comes from the way we were raised and our behaviors during our childhood (at least that’s what my therapist told me).

Truth is that when I got help from my counselor (AND NO! don’t believe that when you seek a counselor, you’re crazy) I realized that by taking this first step it actually made me stronger.

It opened up the doors to fully understand what was happening inside of me but also to realize when this “self-confidence” behavior started.

You see when I was young up until the age of 15, I was always participating in singing, modeling, always in front of crowds, always spoke my mind, I was NEVER SHY nor did I feel I was NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

However, something happened in my life that changed all of this and I became fearful; I didn’t think I was good enough, hated speaking in front of people, I felt ugly, too skinny, I started to lose confidence and started to have very low self-esteem.

Now, this may not be the case with you, but it’s worth a shot looking into this and self-evaluating yourself to see if ANYTHING is holding you back from moving forward.

I’m NOT AN EXPERT, COUNSELOR, THERAPIST, but what I am is an Interpreter who works in a variety of settings (counseling, therapy, social work, etc.) and I learn a thing or two about how this works.  I see so many cases and many of them have to do with low self-esteem.

So, having said that let me invite you to my Podcast where I talk a little more about this same topic.
